INTO THE WOODS Rehearsal Schedule 4/12-5/9

 

Below is the schedule for the next month…..According to this, we are blocked, all music is learned & we are ready to run Act 2 on May 9.  With all your various spring break schedules, it simply was not possible to get this all done & accommodate all of everyone’s conflicts – in a few instances, I had to go ahead & schedule a rehearsal for which I know an important actor will be missing…..if you find that any rehearsals have been scheduled for conflict dates that you have already given me, please make sure that you get together with your fellow actors & work on what you missed.  As we discovered in our Act 1 run-through, there is just so much material & we still have so much yet to do, there just isn’t time to go back & re-block, re-teach etc.

You should be completely off book for Act 1 by now.  If you found yourself wanting or needing your script during our run-through, you must do the work now to get Act 1 into better shape.  You must be off book – completely off book - for Act 2 by May 9.  No scripts in hand for that rehearsal. Jack, Baker, Cinderella, Witch, Little Red, please be completely and solidly off book for Your Fault by April 28.

Please make sure you are using your spring break to work with one another, if possible.  If you will be away from home, make sure you have your script, music, rehearsal tape & a cd of the original b’way version….as well as a willing sibling, parent, friend or pet who can work with you.  If you walk away from this show & do not look at it again until after spring break, we will find ourselves in big trouble!  Remember what we talked about after our Act 1 run-through – about ways to work that are helpful & ways to work that don’t really get you where you need to be….make sure you are working wisely when you are away from rehearsal….
