SeatYourself Campaign | Holiday Benefit - December 16, 2010

PGT SeatYourself Campaign

FAQ How do I dedicate a seat or row? | How much is a seat dedication donation?

We recently launched our "SeatYourself" campaign! The idea is simple and we invite everyone to participate. Thanks to the efforts of our community, we are now in our new home, staging performances in the theatre we built together. We hope you will become a permanent part of the theatre by naming a seat... or more than one seat... or a row... in our Main Stage Theatre.

It is so easy to SeatYourself! Name a seat and it will be permanently dedicated with a plaque and the message of your choice: your family or child's name, a favorite PGT production, a dedication to a PGT director, cast or a commemoration of your child's years at PGT. In true PGT spirit, you can be as creative as you like!

You can even dedicate a full row of seats and your plaque will be mounted in the spotlight of our aisle seat lights. What a great way to pay lasting tribute to your favorite PGT memories, while ensuring a strong and vibrant future for all of our students in PGT's beautiful new theatre.

Now that we all have the theatre we've envisioned for PGT, with seats we've installed with our very own hands, we know that together we can raise all of the necessary funds to complete the work.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you so much for all of the help you have given us and in advance for your support in this new campaign! It truly is because of all of you that PGT is and will continue to be the magical place that we all love.

Join us for a madcap recap of PGT's search for a New Home in this spoof on one of Broadway's funniest musicals "Avenue PGT" on The Play Group Theatre stage. It's a night that promises to be fun for your whole family and friends as well. Festivities begin at 7:00pm. Send in your Benefit Form today, support PGT and get ready for a most memorable evening. Your tax-deductible contributions will provide funds for

  • PGT's 2009 Scholarships
  • Teaching artists and specialists
  • General operating support

and your support will enable The Play Group Theatre to continue offering quality performing arts programs to our PGT students and children and teens throughout Westchester.

Musical Showcase - Avenue PGT

Don't miss this one-time only event. As a thank you gift to the donors that keep PGT in operation each year, Jill, Steven, Jeff, the PGT staff, PGT seniors and even Board Members have come together and given their time and talents to benefit PGT's generous theater community. This year, don't expect a nostalgic stroll down memory lane, but rather a raucous romp down Avenue PGT!

Avenue PGT takes a hilarious look at PGT's quest for a new home. Join Jill, Steven, Jeff and all of your favorite PGT characters as they beg, borrow and, yes, sing for a new home for PGT. Will they find it... or is it curtains for PGT? And if it's curtains... what color curtains? Don't miss the muppet madness of this musical gift.

This memorable evening continues with a dessert reception and celebration kicking off a new year of Play Group Theatre performances and programs. Don your festive attire and come celebrate The Play Group Theatre on December 16, 2010 beginning at 7:00pm at The Play Group Theatre's new home NoBro at 1 North Broadway in downtown White Plains.

This is one of the most memorable PGT events of the year. Don't miss it. Call the PGToffice at 914-946-4433 or follow this link to find out about making your donations and holiday benefit reservations.
