The Actor Training Program includes participation in a class and a performance project for students with all levels of experience, ages 8-17. Students must audition to participate in one of this season's productions. The Goals of ATP

In choosing our production calendar, we look for shows that will challenge our actors, and entertain and inspire our audiences. We strive to present a season that is diverse in its offerings, allowing musicals, modern plays, classics and original works to all find their place on our stage. It is always our goal to choose ensemble based shows that will allow us to feature all actors as much as possible. At the same time, we strive to teach our young actors the value of all parts — that an actor's contribution to and experience in a show cannot be determined by the size of his/her role. During their years with us, we hope that every actor will experience the thrill of a lead role, the delight of being in an ensemble, the rewards of making fewer lines mean more and the challenge of making lots of lines become more than just words.

ATP actors are expected to have a positive attitude and an open mind for each new project in which they are cast. All actors are encouraged to use each production as an opportunity to grow as an artist and to forge new friendships.
