This program has been specially designed for the youngest of our young actors! PGT's Little Theatre is an entirely process-based program. This is a wonderful time to allow children the opportunity to delve deep into their imaginations and to explore the magic of theatre, without the pressure of memorized lines, costume changes, and an audience. At this age, it is important to allow our students to explore — to focus on the process, without worrying about the product. Once the children have "graduated" into our Actor Training Program, at the age of 7, they will be ready to participate in a production.
Little Theatre classes are led by teaching artists with training and experience in early childhood arts education. Every class is planned with a balance of structured activity and time to follow the spontaneous creative impulses of the students. Class sizes are limited to allow for plenty of individual attention, an emphasis on strong group dynamics and a safe enviornment for your young actor to really shine.

Little Theatre
Through storytelling, theatre games, on-your-feet fun and more, children find they can do it too in the magic of theater. Our pre-theatre kids use their imaginations, their voices and bodies to express new ideas and feelings. This class gets everyone in the act!
This class is sure to get your child up and dancing while building coordination and self-confidence. Using theatre dance styles and expressive movement students will gain an understanding of basic dance vocabulary while performing with their peers.
Using puppets, masks, theatre games, music and dance, this course will bring your child into the magic world of theatre. Goals are to nurture each child’s imagination, boost self-esteem and to enable children to perform for their peers in a safe and supportive environment.

Mommy & Me
The newest addition to PGT's Little Theatre options is PGT's Mommy & Me class for our youngest students, ages 2 and 3. This daytime program engages both parent and child in developing imagination, activating voice and bodies, and interacting in a group setting. Through music, stories, games and more, toddlers take the first creative steps towards discovering the world of theater.
